SERMAS will invest EUR 1 020 000 in grants to Third Parties through two open calls to engage projects developing and integrating new technologies in the SERMAS Toolkit and case studies contributing to demonstrate SERMAS’s value proposition and impacts.

We will launch two Open Calls to select projects to develop and integrate new technologies in the SERMAS Toolkit, deploy pilots and contribute to demonstrating SERMAS’s value proposition and impacts.
To whom?
XR Innovators (researchers, startups, SMEs) and industry players.
When?
From 23rd April 2024 to 26th June 2024 at 17:00 CEST.
To do what?
Provide a proof-of-concept demonstrating the use of XR solutions in pilots covering application domains (e.g., health, culture, service) and XR agent features (e.g., full mobility) not covered by SERMAS’s case studies.
How many?
We aim to fund 4-5 projects.
How long?
The projects will last 12 months, covering three phases: plan (2 months), develop and deploy (8 months), and validate (2 months).
How much?
We will provide financial support of up to EUR 150 000 per project.
Open Call 1: DEVELOP Co-create and co-develop the SERMAS Toolkit
The OC1 DEVELOP is closed.
To whom?
XR Innovators (researchers, startups, SMEs).
To do what?
Design and develop innovative solutions addressing challenges proposed by SERMAS based on the needs identified when working on the pilots and developing the XR Agent and Toolkit or on new unforeseen trends.
How many?
We aim to fund 4-5 projects.
How long?
The projects will last 9-12 months, following an agile approach with three-month cycles.
How much?
We will provide financial support of up to EUR 100 000 per project.
When?
From 01 September 2023 to 31 October 2023.
